Eighteen huge halls at the Hannover Fairgrounds, Germany were fully occupied by 2,629 exhibitors (from 58 countries) and 163,000 visitors (from more than 100 countries) at this year’s edition of the popular EuroTier livestock production show. It is said to be the world leading trade fair for livestock production.
Although the ticket is quite costly at 21 Euro/ day, it was totally busy during the 4 days.
The range of products and services on display at EuroTier this year was larger than previous editions of the fair, especially in the cross-species sectors such as feedstuffs, equipment for milling, mixing and pelleting of feed, veterinary medicines, and air conditioning equipment. Other areas covered at the fair include: breeding stock, breeding programs and reproduction technology; feed storage; animal housing, including controlled-environment technology; machinery and equipment for animal husbandry and feeding; milking equipment and milk storage systems; machinery and equipment for storing and handling solid and liquid manure; food processing equipment; and advisory, management and consultancy services.
Many other events, dedicated exhibitions, innovation showcases, congresses, and special features were complete the wide offer of EuroTier 2016.
