COMPOSITION
Cloprostenol sodium, Excipients qs.
INDICATION
– Cattle, sheep, goats, camels: Induces luteolysis of functional corpora lutea, with return to oestrus in most cows in 2 – 4 days.
– Horses: Induction of luteolysis with a functional corpus luteum.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
For intramuscular injection only:
– Cattle: 2 ml single or repeated dose.
– Horses:
- < 400 kg of body weight: 0.5-1 ml single dose.
- > 400 kg of body weight: 1-2 ml single dose.
– Sheep and goats: 0.6 ml, single dose.
– Camels: 1 ml single dose.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
– Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to any ingredients of product.
– Do not use in animals with spastic respiratory or gastro-intestinal diseases.
– Do not use in pregnant animals, for which induction of abortion or parturition is not intended.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
– Meat and offal: 1 day.
– Milk: none.
STORAGE
– Store in dry, cool place, avoid direct sunlight.
– Store in room temperature, under 30oC.
