Hội chứng rối loạn sinh sản và hô hấp ở lợn (PRRS) là bệnh truyền nhiễm nguy hiểm ở lợn do virut gây ra. Ở Việt Nam, bệnh còn được gọi là “bệnh lợn tai xanh” do lợn mắc bệnh thường bị xung huyết ở tai, lúc đầu đỏ sẫm, sau tím xanh. Khi xuất hiện, bệnh thường lây lan nhanh và có các biểu hiện đặc trưng như: sốt, ho, thở khó; ở lợn nái là các rối loạn sinh sản như: sẩy thai, thai chết lưu, phối không chửa, chậm động dục; lợn đực giống mất tính hăng, giảm số lượng tinh trùng…
